A Young Moment
Dec. 6th, 2005 05:46 pmComing back from Derbyshire at the weekend, T.E.P. &
donald_says were talking about various New Year's parties and mentioned one held at Donald & Jennie's in 1993. "I remember that party", says T.E.P. 1993, thinks I. I was in third year. At high school, that is. Therefore I was 14.
Gods, I felt like a child. I mean, I know T.E.P's a couple of years older than me, plus he went to uni at 16, but it's still rather scary to think that the real world was actually going on somewhere else while I was stuck in the concrete polar bear enclosure that was my world at that point.
And certain persons a little younger than me (
preachermuaddib to be precise) complain of feeling old. I dunno which is worse...
