Not much to say...
Dec. 31st, 2005 05:24 pm...but in keeping with good intentions I will make brief comment on King Kong. Only very brief, though, cos I needs a nap before tonight - so the short version is that it is very, very good indeed - but at three hours I reckon 20 minutes of lingering, loving shots of nothing much could have been lost without any pain, even before you start messing with plot-related stuff. Either that or put in a break between the reels.
Also, March of the Penguins and Harry Potter have now been seen. I may or may not get around to saying more about them.
Other than the above, new job continues well - that's almost two weeks and I don't hate it yet, which going on my recent record is something of an achievement. I might actually go so far as to say I like it. I am resisting the temptation to qualify that statement quite extensively. If I'm still fairly sanguine about it in 6 months time then I'll be impressed.
