The Weekend Just Past...
Jan. 18th, 2006 11:52 pm...was very pleasant indeed.
edwardscissors and
siani_hedgehog took me in over the weekend and entertained me very well indeed.
edwardscissors's Sera is the best car to sit in the back of. Every lovely view of the Borders was visible through at least 3 panes of glass at any point and quite often 5, depending on where I was sitting, with pretty much 180 degree visibility at any point. And for anyone not familiar with the car, that included looking out of the roof. Mind you, I am only very short and fold up small. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for anyone much taller than me.
siani_hedgehog made much bread, and also (vegan) dinner, and we watched the original Star Wars on laserdisc. While the Special Edition has a few plus points, it was great to see the un-messed with version for a change. And I also got to see The Last Unicorn. I've wanted to since I was about 8 or 9, I think, and going through that horsey phase. I enjoyed it lots but I suspect I'd have enjoyed it even more at that point. Some more musing on it may follow at a later date.
The weekend was finished off very nicely with a visit to Piemaker and no less than three pies.
A good weekend.
