Nov. 8th, 2005 12:16 amUnfortunately I had to work today. This is not a good thing.
However I then acquired T.E.P. and we went to the pictures. We wanted to see Serenity but had long missed the only showing today (we may go and see this tomorrow but T.E.P.'s mother is planning to monopolise him on the flimsy pretext of it being his birthday. Forgive me, but surely on T.E.P.'s birthday T.E.P. should get *some* say....?).
So we went to see The Corpse Bride instead. I liked it and it was very pretty but I couldn't help seeing all the satchels, dolls, purses, keyrings, hoodies.... Basically it was a very lovely film but it was *trying* to be lovely. If that makes any sense at all.
